Bicycle Boy is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure comic by Jackarais.
Our protagonist--a cyborg who calls himself 'Poet'--cannot recall anything before the day he woke up in the middle of the desert, surrounded by corpses.
With no memories, no purpose and no idea what the hell is going on, he sets out to find answers.
This comic contains graphic imagery.
This includes bloodshed, gore, murder and other flavours of violence, colourful language, sexual and other upsetting themes, and plenty of other things that will probably offend you. Enjoy.

Minimum effort, maximum comic enjoyment.

When does this comic update?
How long does it take to draw a page?
Between 6-10 hours, with the majority of the time usually dedicated to linework.
When did you start working on Bicycle Boy?
I wrote Bicycle Boy as a (very, very shitty) 52k novel for NaNoWriMo in November of 2010, and have been working on it ever since. I didn't start drawing the actual comic pages until August 2013, though.
What do you use to draw this comic?
Up until partway through Chapter 3. I drew them on printer paper with a mechanical pencil, then scanned it and did the digital work. Since my scanner bit the dust I work the pages from start to finish on the computer. I use GIMP 2.8 for borders & text, and Paint Tool Sai for sketches, linework, colors, SFX, & everything else.
Will Bicycle Boy ever be printed?
I plan to eventually. :) Hopefully the first three chapters will be compiled & printed as the first volume when I'm ready.
Poet's design doesn't make any sense!?
That could be intentional.
